Mile Hi Inn at Camp John Hay, Baguio City

Sometime in October, I was actually “craving” to revisit Baguio City but couldn’t find an opportunity to do so. And just recently, my “craving” was satisfied when my college friends decided to have our Christmas dinner in the City of Pines. Yes, a Christmas dinner six hours north of Manila — a test of friendship, ehh? =)
My friend organized the accommodation and we settled at Mile Hi Inn located inside Camp John Hay. If you are familiar with Mile Hi Center, you will have no problem locating Mile Hi Inn, as it is just beneath the diners and souvenir shops on Mile Hi Center.
We got a forest view room good for four pax. the rate is affordable at P2,400/night. The room is not air-conditioned, but who needs aircon in Baguio anyway? It is so cold even when the fan is turned off.
The room is clean and new, nothing fancy but highly recommended as it is homey and cozy. They also have a water dispenser outside so you can refill your water bottles anytime you want!
The bathroom is tiled and clean as well, though I think they have to improve on their bath amenities like soap, shampoo, etc. There is a small bar of soap but no shampoo.
Here is a view from our window. It looks like a scene from Twilight.
The good thing about Mile Hi Inn is its proximity to designer outlets, restaurants and The Manor. You can walk to Starbucks or the nearby Filling Station (a food court).
